1903 Heart Shaped Love Token Metalsmith's Paperweight with Inset Photo nesting dolls I'm certain it's not that

I'm certain it's not that old

which it would have pre-dated a bit in the U

but the gloriously radiant color of the hand-painted silk feels lush like a peach to me

with just a bit of tearing to the paper label in a few spots

but unlike any I've see before and really wonderfully done

I've never seen the likes of it before, a paperweight with photograph embedded perfectly framed by cutout heart inside the larger brass heart. Surely a love token, and surely made by a metalsmith, in 1903, I presume for his sweetheart Carrie (or Earrie? but I'm thinking maybe he just added an extra flourish
