This little notebook is a delicate one--small

made all the better by lots off scrapes and wear

and I have to guess it was part of a stove (there is a sort of hook at bottom center of the back side that perhaps latched to the stove and this piece opened out to allow for emptying ashes

And I love photographing them, as evident! Ive been looking for a long time for just the right fig, and finally found it in this one hard to describe
